The National Science Foundation awarded a Faculty Early Career Development Award to @ncstatephysics Assistant Professor Julio Monti Belmonte. 🥳

The award is one of the highest honors NSF gives to young faculty in the sciences. Belmonte’s research seeks to fill an important gap in understanding how actin networks generate and transmit forces within and between cells.
